Movie Trailor: The Golden Compass

"The Golden Compass", or as it is known in the Southern Hemisphere as "The Northern Lights", is a movie based off the book of the same name, written by Phillip Pullman. It is the first part of the trilogy and was a excellent read. The movie (from the trailer) looks similarly awesome.
